Deep wells reflects darkly
Inky stillness mirrors the night
Letting go and trusting faithfully
The vertical connection to the source
Plunging blackness of the mind
Voids of unexplored feeling
Spiritual knowing you find
A nourishing healing

Healing heart

Heart strings pulled taught
threads slowly unravelling
of the life and the love
fibres are ripping and breaking

Emotional tension body tightens
stretching snapping in sadness
tearing psychic flesh and muscle
temporary emotional madness

The chord and connection breaks
leaving an aching space behind
Mending weaving and twisting
The fibres can now recombine

The heart a renewed shape healing
the pain begins to subside
more control of life and love
humanity more firmly resides

Invisible strands remain
linking you to your past
like webs of a spider
of course they will last

Do you let go of the memories?
They are part of you
The people of your life
important moments for who?

The renewed structure of the changed heart
is deep in muscle and quite profound
The past is gone, the same place exactly
Will certainly never be found

The new you needs proper respect
a gentle quiet listening
an ear for whispers within
a soft tear rolling and glistening.

This new strength is safe
this new place is good
time and we do move on
