The window is clearing after a cold dewy dawn
the sun is peaking from behind spring's new leaves
in bed still a "kind man" turns over not wanting morning
Facing decisions, living with indecision

Partner raises "kind man" pretends to sleep
not wanting hurt she leaves, the warmth departs
His heart and head wrestle fiercely
but still lingers in the present state of eternal flux

The body is weak because the mind is torn
"Kind Man" energies draining energy lost to all
smiles weak but heart felt, a glimmer of the truth
sadness wells, inside streams of emotion confused

Life and light draws him to the day
remainders of what really inspires
joy and growth, love and art
he crosses the threshold of this new start
