Alone in the world?
no only lost
but at what cost
the world waits as it
always does

swirling mists surround
a shallow dish edged
in darkness and uncertainty
self - centred at the eye
dark black angular
small, distant and dimly lit

A rug pulled sharply
left that you stuck there
boxed closed and encased
hiding the truth
the love within

looking before
you were bright
you were there
smiling and seeing smiles
alive living
life available
adventures ahead

the black box lid cracks open
entrapped love seeping out
the resources freeing the hinge
light disapating the mist.

Below the swirl
less hidden from view
the view of life as before
and as it can be
gentle light friendly
and together in heart
and there with love.
