Things we think about and don’t actually say

Opportunities, delicate veils are enough to shroud

Many lives lived without exploring everything around

Is this a problem?

What is missed, is love lost ?

is friendship gained?

Can you have both or is the risk you loose it all.

Is being scared an excuse

is it easier to stay safe? REALLY is it easier?

 

Is it right to chance your arm - to cross the line?

The line you can feel but cannot touch

The line that is there but really is not

And if this line is crossed then what

What would happen and what would be said

Would people care, would they say at last

Where is the bridge under which all that water has passed?

 

What is the risk and what is the gain

What has been said and what was left unsaid

left to dwell in the souls deep and left to stew

is it now reduced to a crust boiled dry?

is it now a tasteless dream and new things on the boil

or is the slow cooking just adding to the enjoyment

the savouring of something waited for so long

what will lead to what and where will that lead when got

 

life a joy a mix a bag of fun confusion, curiosity and exploration

and journey with unexpected beauty at every turn

paths lead forward and back to where you came

but face the future and enjoy the moment

as it is the crucible of the rest of time…….
